AG MOHAN & INDRA MOHAN | EMOTIONS & MENTAL STEADINESS
We all know there is no greater blessing than a steady and peaceful mind. Yet, we are all troubled at times by unwanted emotions like desire, dislike, and delusion. These are related to a web of emotions like love, compassion, fear etc. This 5-day program will focus on understanding and dealing with these emotions through Yogic Mindfulness techniques.
This is a rare opportunity to study with one of the most senior yoga masters alive now, and a direct links to the authentic yoga traditions, A. G. Mohan continues to study, practice, and teach.
A. G. Mohan was a personal student of Sri T. Krishnamacharya from 1971 to 1989. He was also the convener of Krishnamacharya’s centenary celebrations in 1988. Indra Mohan is one of the few people who received a post-graduate diploma in yoga from Krishnamacharya. Known for her serene demeanor, she is a source of support and wisdom to her many personal students.

Each birth is unique, labor unpredictable and motherhood does not only mean pink clouds. It’s a time of changes and each woman finds her own balance and recovers in her own way. This workshop is designed for (pre, and postnatal) yoga teachers, yoga therapists and maternity and baby health professionals (with or without a teaching qualification in yoga).
This training will make you feel confident and competent in working with women’s mental health pre,- and postnatally using the methodology of Svastha Yoga as a holistic practice that shines a light on the classical yoga concepts, relevant to mental health. This training is based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya, combined it with medical science and modern insights.

With private yoga lessons, you’ll zoom in on a students’ goals and create personalised instruction based on their health, body type and lifestyle. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to work skilfully with your students as you craft classes that meet their personal needs using tools from yoga and self-compassion. Get new ideas and learn how to use the Network Yoga Therapy framework while teaching 1:1, without overwhelming yourself or the student. I joined this training with Anneke because I was curious how I could integrate therapy into my own yoga classes. I also wanted to learn more about trauma, depression and anxiety.
The most important lesson I learned from Anneke was to simplify and to soften, to get in touch with the essence of the present moment and to meet the individual in front of me, exactly where he/she is.
After the training I will go explore the areas and treatment of people suffering from burn-outs and how yoga can help them healing from this.
I learned so much from Anneke, how to be compassionate towards others and most importantly towards myself.
